## Description

The Botanical Garden in Chișinău, in the Botanica sector, belongs to the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Visitors walk among plant collections arranged in sections: an alpine garden, an arboretum, a rose garden, medicinal and aromatic plants, native flora, ferns and seasonal flowers, along with lakes and quiet meadows. The greenhouses with tropical and subtropical plants can be visited on weekdays with shorter hours and are closed on Tuesdays. Tickets are sold only in the first part of the day and the park closes in the evening. Entry is cheaper for children under six and for retirees.
