## Description

Ștefan cel Mare Public Garden is the oldest park in Chișinău, in the Buiucani sector, covering 7 hectares. The park was founded in 1818, major works began in 1825 and it reached its final form in 1835; around a thousand acacias were planted then. Classics Alley, laid out in 1958, holds busts of Romanian writers, with 20th-century writers added since the 1990s. The park also has a bust of Pushkin \(1885\) and the statue of Stephen the Great \(1928\).
