„Casa Sobarului” Guesthouse

Casa Sobarului is a rural guesthouse in Molovata village, Dubăsari district, 50 metres from the Dniester and roughly 60 to 67 km from Chișinău. The house was built in 1950 and renovated after 2020 by Radu and Marina Coșneanu, with a reed roof. It has four traditionally furnished rooms for 8 to 10 guests and takes guests year-round. The owner is a stove builder by trade and made a traditional oven in the courtyard where Moldovan dishes are cooked for guests. Besides the terrace, visitors find a small museum of traditional objects and walks along the Dniester bank.
