The Cathedral of Divine Providence is the Roman Catholic cathedral of Chișinău, on Mitropolit Dosoftei Street. The neoclassical building, in a Russian classicist style, was put up in the first half of the 19th century. It was closed in 1963, in Soviet times, returned to the parish in 1989 and restored between 2002 and 2004. It is the seat of the Diocese of Chișinău. Masses are held every day in different languages (Polish, Russian, Romanian and, on Saturday evening, English), and perpetual adoration takes place on Wednesdays. Visitors who are not attending a service should come outside mass times; the exact visiting hours are not published.
