Mileștii Mici is a winery in the village of the same name in Ialoveni district, about 20 km south of Chișinău. The wine is stored in underground galleries left by limestone quarrying. The collection holds more than 2 million bottles, and in 2007 it was recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest wine collection in the world. Red wines dominate, followed by white and dessert wines; varieties include Fetească, Negru de Purcari, Riesling, Pinot and Muscat. Visiting hours and prices could not be confirmed, so check them before you go.
