Orhei Museum of History and Ethnography

The museum was founded in 1969. Its collections include documents and photographs, ethnographic, archaeological and numismatic objects, and decorative art. The thematic displays follow local prehistory, the medieval period and the modern history of Orhei, with sections on the Second World War and Soviet repression, and an emphasis on the medieval towns and Getic fortifications of the area.
