La Izvor Park

La Izvor Park is in north-west Chișinău, in the Sculeni neighbourhood of the Buiucani sector, and is one of the city's largest green spaces. It was laid out in 1972–1973 along the Bâc river with four dam lakes and several small islands, and was first called the Park of Peoples' Friendship. A well-known spot is the suspended bridge, nicknamed the Bridge of Love. Between 2020 and 2023 the park was renovated, with running and cycling paths, tennis courts, a beach soccer arena and several pavilion rest areas.
