Valea Morilor (Mill Valley) Park

Valea Morilor Park is in Chișinău, between the Buiucani and Centru sectors, around the lake of the same name. It was created in 1950, designed by architect Robert Kurz, and was first called the Central Culture and Recreation Park of the Leninist Komsomol. The park has four entrances, a cascade stairway of 218 steps, a summer theatre built in 1957, a children's area, a beach and a boat station. The lake is used for water sports and carp fishing.
