Food and drink
Akvatir is a sturgeon farm in Tiraspol, on Sovetskaya Street, that produces black caviar. It breeds four species: Beluga, Russian sturgeon, bester and sterlet. Visitors see the large fish in the tanks, the breeding halls with recirculated water and how the caviar is processed; the visit may include a tasting. The complex covers seven hectares and has modern laboratories. Visits are booked in advance, for example through agencies that include it in their programmes, and the tour language depends on the agency.
A rough sketch. The distance is in a straight line, not by road.
