The Jewish cemetery in Vadul-Rașcov, Șoldănești district, is a historic monument of national importance listed in the Moldovan register of state-protected monuments. The gravestones carry Jewish symbols and inscriptions in Yiddish or Hebrew, and the setting on the bank of the Dniester is among the most picturesque in Moldova. No Jewish family lives in the village any more, but their history has left its mark on the local culture.
