Artă Rustică is a folk crafts centre in the village of Clișova Nouă, Orhei district, near the Chișinău–Lvov international route, set up by the civic organisation “Rural Woman”. The complex has a textile museum, a “living” museum of folk crafts, a hall of authentic rugs, a hall of folk costumes, a traditional house (“Casa Mare”) and a training centre. Craftswomen work on traditional looms and stands with natural wool and teach interested visitors the art of weaving the Bessarabian rug. The Bessarabia Carpet Festival is also held here.
