Domulgeni is a village in Florești district, on the Răut River, known for smoked meats made in village households. A local producer, Ms Raisa, smokes her meats over cherry, sour cherry and apple wood, without preservatives or colourants, in small batches of 50–80 kg a day or to order. She says only six active producers remain in the village. The AutoBlog.MD team was welcomed there and learned how the smoking is done. A visit is arranged directly with the producers; the sites consulted give no public hours or prices.
