Gitana is a winery of the Dulgher family in the village of Plopi, Cantemir district, in the Valul lui Traian wine region. The family took over an older winery in 1999; its cellar dates from 1953 and combines underground limestone cellars with modern facilities. There is a tasting room and tours are offered; reservations are recommended for groups of more than six. Wines include Lupi (red), Saperavi, La Petite Sophie (white), Surori (rosé), Mănăstirea Rohrbach Cru (white) and Bacalu (red).
