Novak Winery is a winery in Cantemir district, southern Moldova, combining tradition with new technology. Its vineyards lie in the villages of Comrat, Tartaul and Ciobalaccia. Besides international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Malbec, it grows local varieties (Rară Neagră, Fetească Regală) and revived ones, including Alb de Onițcani and Floricica. Visitors can taste wines, including during the production process, have lunch or dinner, and buy wine and souvenirs. In August to October guests can take part in making the wine. It is open Friday to Sunday, 11:00–19:00, by reservation only. Visits are offered in Romanian, Russian, English and French.
