Lake Beleu is a natural lake in Cahul district in southern Moldova, inside the Lower Prut Scientific Reserve. More than 196 bird species and many fish species are recorded here. The reserve offers a walking trail of about 3 km, roughly 2 hours, with an observation platform and a view of the lake, and a boat route through the Manolescu Channel, possible only in small groups and when the water level allows. Entry, the boat and a guide are paid for at the reserve, whose office is in Slobozia Mare.
