Condrița Monastery, dedicated to St Nicholas the Hierarch, is in the village of Condrița, Strășeni district, about 25 km from Chișinău. It began as a skete in 1783, founded by the hieromonk Iosif from Căpriana, and became an independent monastery in 1918. Its icons and church objects came from the Noul Neamț and Căpriana monasteries.
