Wineries · Chișinău and Surroundings
Mihai Sava Winery is in the village of Costești, Ialoveni district, and makes wine from grapes grown in the Pojogana vineyards, following the village's winemaking traditions. The winemaker started with homemade wine sold in bulk, then launched bottled wine under his own brand; production was modernised in 2016. Visitors can take a guided tour with a tasting, buy wine and souvenirs in the winery shop, and have lunch or dinner. Visits are by reservation only, in groups of up to 14 people, and the hosts speak Romanian and Russian. The winery is open all year, every afternoon.
