House of potter Vasilii Goncear

Casa Olarului "Vasilii Gonciari" in Hogineşti village, Călăraşi district, is a pottery workshop with a museum of traditional ceramics. Visitors tour the workshop, see how clay becomes pottery and try the potter's wheel in a masterclass with the master Vasile Goncear. Utilitarian and decorative pieces are on sale, and the grounds have pavilions for resting and picnics, sports fields and space for camping.
