Casa Părintească is a museum in Palanca village, Călărași district, about 60 km from Chișinău, set up by Tatiana Popa in her family's house, which she recovered after 2000. Visitors see a household with a nineteenth-century atmosphere, period furniture and traditional crafts. The house runs weaving and other craft workshops, summer schools for children and weekend classes. Herbal teas and homemade preserves can be bought. A wooden church, "Acoperământul Maicii Domnului", stands nearby. There is no fixed entry fee: visitors leave a donation.
A rough sketch. The distance is in a straight line, not by road.
